Job Description

NDS, Nonclinical Drug Safety, helps advance high quality drug candidates into development by defining the nonāclinical safety and selectivity of lead compounds. NDS employees evaluate Lead Op candidates and preclinical toxicity of drug development candidates, provide mechanistic understanding of drug-induced toxicity, and assess implications for human safety. Ā
DART
The Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) group assesses effects of a compound on mammalian reproduction to support human clinical trials and marketing authorizations. A student with interest in developmental and reproductive biology and/or toxicology will explore means to enhance DART assay(s).

Education:
- Candidates should currently be enrolled in a minimum of a BS/BA in: Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Animal Sciences, or related discipline.

Preferred:
-G.P.A of 3.0 or higher
-Strong analytical and communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
For DART potential candidates: Background in developmental and/or reproductive biology, cell biology, or toxicology. Previous laboratory experience not required but considered a plus.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidateās relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
