Internship Overview
Ready to dive into a world of marketing strategy and creativity? OpenSesame is looking for passionate, driven students to join us for a paid summer internship program. If you’re intelligent, curious, and full of fresh ideas, this is your chance to collaborate with an exceptional team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
As an intern, you’ll join one of our dynamic teams, tackling real projects and contributing to meaningful work that impacts OpenSesame’s growth. You’ll collaborate across departments, interact with our leadership team, and gain insights into what it takes to succeed in the world of marketing.

We work cross-functionally to align our marketing efforts with OpenSesame’s bigger goals, and we make sure our campaigns deliver measurable results. Performance-Based Objectives
Week 2:
- Immerse yourself in OpenSesame's marketing processes and tools to hit the ground running.
- Partner with the product marketing team to assist with launch planning, competitive analysis, and undercover “secret shopper” research.
- Start contributing to customer marketing programs—think customer interviews and case studies that tell a compelling story.
30 Days:
- Work hand-in-hand with the growth team to build lead generation strategies that are as innovative as they are effective.
- Dive into the company website and help ensure its performance and user experience are top-notch.
- Lead the charge on creating eye-catching social media campaigns that spark interest and engagement.
- Dig into competitive research to help shape and refine our marketing strategies and positioning.
60 Days:
- Become an essential partner to the marketing team, offering insights and creative solutions that help drive our projects forward.
- Take ownership of a project that will enhance a key aspect of OpenSesame’s marketing efforts—this is your chance to shine.
- Develop a plan to optimize our marketing campaigns using data-driven insights, making sure we’re always one step ahead.

- Start: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
- End: Friday, August 15, 2025
Commitment:
- Full-time (40 hours/week) for 7 ½ weeks
Compensation:
- Standard: $17/hour
Fully Remote Role: Interns must have a personal computer and access to consistent high-speed internet during working hours.
Opportunities and Expectations: As a summer intern at OpenSesame, you’ll have the chance to grow your skills through training courses and meaningful work. You’ll also participate in enriching program events, including learning opportunities, networking, community service projects, and book club discussions.
Additionally, you’ll collaborate with other interns on a group-led project that will have a real impact.
Interview Process: After the initial resume review, selected applicants will be invited to complete a creative project of their choice—such as a video, vision board, writing sample, or website—to showcase their skills and answer questions about why they’re interested in this opportunity and what makes them a great fit. This will be followed by interviews with our team.
