CATALYST, AGCO's global rotational development program, is designed to offer you in-depth career experiences, ongoing mentorship, and targeted training across a range of business areas. PTx is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide engineering expertise in design, implementation, and deployment of on-farm planting and harvesting equipment for advanced precision agriculture applications. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have career opportunity as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Hardware Engineer or other roles at AGCO. Your Impact

  • Serve as the owner for the design, testing, and productionizing of your products.
  • Develop, tune, and test control algorithms and validate proof of concept software on research equipment operating in the field.
  • Gain understanding of vehicle CAN use as inputs for control software; use cutting-edge engineering design, modeling, and rapid prototyping tools to assist in research and invention of new product designs
  • Collaborate with our in-house attorney to draft patent applications for inventions you create
  • You will have the opportunity to see your own ideas for helping farmers come to reality

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will not need sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Must be willing to relocate within the United Sates during the program.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, strong leadership and communication skills and a solid modeling of mechanical parts using Creo or similar tools
  • Familiarity with multiple programming languages (C, C++, python), graphical programming environments (Simulink) and familiarity with prototyping techniques: 3D printing, machining, fabrication, instrumentation, and data analysis
  • Creation of detailed part prints as necessary for prototype and production parts

 

Your Compensation

Our Rotational Development Program salary is $70,000. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 7% of compensation.
