Sigma Defense is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams by applying iterative development techniques to technical, management, past performance, and personnel content for various response types including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Unsolicited White Papers, IDIQ Task Orders, and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience managing tasks and resources across multiple proposals in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional team-oriented environment.
  • Highly proficient in the English language to include verbal and written communications, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with executives internally and externally.
  • Expert-level skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel programs.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be adaptable to changing priorities and company initiatives such as process improvement and new software implementation and upgrades.
  • Must have flexibility and accountability to work remotely.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.
  • A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Lead and serves as a member of a proposal leadership team to research, analyze, prepare, and submit proposals for Government projects.
    Ensure proposal submissions comply with applicable instructions and company proposal best practices, and agreed upon elements are incorporated into a cohesive and persuasive format.
  • Drives the proposal process and proactively manages milestones.
    Reviews requirements and recommends response strategy.
    Partners and works in conjunction with Business Development, capture and/or portfolio management personnel, subject matter experts, account leads and corporate business support services to develop and generate response approach, strategies, themes, and discriminators.
  • Lead and participates in proposal reviews.
  • Ensures the effective application of iterative proposal development techniques to support and mature proposal sections.
  • Provide matrixed support.
  • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Provide desktop publishing and technical editing as needed to maintain a high-quality response.
  • Support ad-hoc, special projects and or any other actions required by management.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 annually.
