Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Data Engineering Team in support of the Department of Defense (DoD). This role is ideal for an experienced System Administrator who wants to expand skills in cloud and programming. The work schedule performed will be during regular U.S. Eastern business hours and can be worked remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not be limited to the following:

• Ensure Business Intelligence solution, virtual workspaces, and other mission-critical systems are operational during business hours.
• Apply patches/updates and implement security controls.
• Coordinate data acquisition and maintain working relationships with data sources.
• Design, build, and test data processing programs.

What You Will Need

Experience Requirements:

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Client requirements: 7 years of experience and a completed Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering.
• 3+ years work experience installing and managing Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, VDI, and SQL Server Enterprise.
• Working knowledge of scripting in PowerShell.
• Experience with SQL queries.
• Proven capacity to be productive and self-initiated while working remotely from the rest of the team.

Clearance Requirement:

• Must possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
