Staff Accountant - France (Remote from France)

• Perform monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining 
• account reconciliations, and conducting monthly variance analysis.
• Lead the handover of the accounting function from our external accountants to inhouse accounting.
• Lead with the localisation of our Oracle Fusion eXp France instance to be locally compliant.
• Assist in reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.
• Provide support for quarterly and annual audits, including preparing detailed schedules, supporting documentation, and financial reports.
• Oversee asset management and intercompany accounting.
• Respond to external and internal queries via email and phone.
• Identify and calculate provisions and handle exceptions to standard bookings.
• Assist in the development and documentation of business processes, procedures, checklists, and policies.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

How you will grab our attention: Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of combined experience in accounting and the general ledger close process.
• Strong understanding of local GAAP accounting principles; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills preferred.

Working Conditions:Remote Location:This position allows you to work from any location in France with a stable internet connection. You are expected to provide your own workspace and reliable internet access.Work Hours:While core hours are based on the local business schedule, you have flexibility in organizing your work, provided it does not compromise project deadlines or team collaboration.Equipment and Expenses:You will be provided with a company computer and other necessary equipment.
