What you will do-
We are hiring a Sourcing Manager, Global Metal Category to join our diverse team. Additional responsibilities:
Formulate and implement processes to build a best in class strategic procurement organization
Lead cross functional teams to develop best in class strategic procurement strategies for assigned categories in support of business objectives
Drive implementation of category strategies which will include spend/supply assessments, consolidation strategy, supplier selection, and financial analyses
Develop a contract strategy for key suppliers and create, negotiate, monitor and enforce when applicable
Obtain and communicate, through regular Category Updates, market condition information, commercial opportunities, category strategy updates, active RFQ's, and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers
Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes
Perform cost analyses in partnership with Value Engineering and engage in cost based negotiations with suppliers
Collaborate with Divisional Procurement Stakeholders on Commercial Horizons, Cost Savings Opportunities, New Product Introduction Pipeline, RFQ's, and Supplier Performance
What you need-
Bachelor’s degree- required
8+ years of relevant experience- required
Experience in a regulated industry- highly preferred
- $98,000- $210,100/year salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
