Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to participate in the development and maintenance of custom code in support of a cutting-edge software initiative. The candidate will actively contribute to cyber capabilities development and deployment to address emerging mission requirements. Some of the responsibilities of this role include software development, application security testing, and collaboration with technical government entities. This rewarding and autonomous position directly supports Cyber operations and allows for remote work.

 

Job Description:

Oversee the operations and management of a comprehensive, private cloud infrastructure. The environment interfaces real-time with other internal systems for data enrichment and sharing, has a web-based front-end, and an extensive back-end for ingesting and processing data.

 

This is a part-time (20hr/week), fully remote position. 

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 6+ years of experience. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
• Active TS required to start (with eligibility for SCI and Poly)
• 6 years of experience in direct support of a major program, project or activity relating to computer software development
• Experience directly related to the following:
• Python (primary language), PHP, C, and C++
• OpenStack
• Linux (mainly Ubuntu) and Windows environments
• Other virtual platforms

Preferred Additional Skills:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Experience/familiarity with:
• Elasticsearch
• Databases, both relational and NoSQL

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Apply
