Senior Software Engineer - Las Vegas, NV (Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will dive deeper into the software lifecycle, taking on more complex tasks and leading smaller project initiatives. Raft is building an AI Battle Management System to operationalize the warfighter's needs by leveraging machine learning to build a voice-to-voice capability that understands the communications between fighter pilots and air battle managers. You will join a fast-paced, cutting-edge team building the Air Battle Manager of tomorrow and removing the human from the loop to drastically reduce the time required to make critical decisions.

What we are looking for:

• Experience with API development and frontend frameworks like Angular or VueJS
• Hands-on experience architecting, developing, and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Familiarity with developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Worked with clients architecting, developing, and implementing containerized solutions both in the Cloud and on-premises
• Three years of relevant industry experience
• Three years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes (a plus, not required), provisioning production clusters and maintaining compliance.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and/or other cloud computing solutions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Configured CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners
• Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred:

• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka or other NoSQL databases
• Experience with supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
• Experience in automation languages like Python or GoLang
• Comfortable provisioning and debugging complex CI/CD pipelines

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret 

Work Type: 

• Local remote in Las Vegas, NV
• On customer when needed up to 25%
• May require up to 25% travel

Salary Range:

• $110,000 - $200,000 
• The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
