Job Description Summary
This position handles a wide variety of issues related to establishing, communicating, and auditing the administrative processes & procedures during the plan installation process for our large market retirement plans. This quality position works in tandem with our Client Onboarding Managers and plays an integral role by ensuring all day-to-day administrative functions are working properly. The position will also be responsible for ensuring the Plan Administrator understands all administrative processes and procedures necessary to operate their plan with Transamerica.An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retirement plan provisions, plan setup and our internal systems (ex. P3, AWD, PSD, DDOL).
Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide quality support to CTS by running and analyzing new case audits, including but not limited to balances, allocations, default analysis, etc.
Identify trends related to conversion strategies that may require additional oversight and changes to audit processes.
Create plan level conversion reconciliations; identify discrepancies and collaborate with the Transition team and Accounting for resolution.
Support special projects, such as providing technical direction and running ad hoc reports in AQT.
Identify ways to improve effectiveness, efficiency and “value added” for internal and external customers.
Develop and implement processes for mitigation of future issues and management of customer expectations.
Train team members and members of the conversion team on the CTS audit procedures.
Serve as a subject matter expert to management and internal teams on best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
Five years of financial services experience
Strong understanding of defined benefit/defined contribution, or relevant financial operations
Experience and understanding of installation processes and plan administration
Knowledge and understanding of fund trading and the relationship between plan assets and system balances
Analytical and problem-solving skill to perform internal auditing procedures
Organizational and time-management skills to work on multiple assignments through to completion
Written and oral communication skills to convey technical information/analysis results
Basic accounting skills
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Pension plan conversion experience
Experience with AQT and/or SharePoint

Compensation
**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $62,000 - $82,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 10% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
