The Impact of a Senior Mobile Development Engineer at Coupa:
Coupa’s mobile Engineers create our best-in-class User Interface by contributing to the development of Coupa’s mobile app product for Android and iOS, finding creative and elegant solutions to complex problems while collaborating closely with product managers, User Experience (UX) designers, and development teams to help drive standardization of user interface patterns and champion best practices.

What you will do:

• As a Senior Mobile Engineer you will be a part of a team building Coupa’s iOS and Android mobile app using state-of-the-art technology, with a strong focus on React Native (Javascript/Typescript).
• You’ll build interfaces and experiences that allow our users to easily complete complex tasks from wherever they are on the device of their choice.
• You will be a key contributor on complex projects and initiatives while developing new concepts, methods and techniques.

What you will bring to Coupa:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience with mobile app development in React Native. Some experience writing code using native languages for iOS and Android.
• A strong ability to debug code to fix problems and implement features.
• Understanding of mobile app standards, cross-platform compatibility and performance.
• An ability to work with APIs to retrieve and present complex data in visually 
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a globally distributed team while having a growth-oriented mindset

Nice to haves:

• Experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with React Native upgrades
• Familiarity with testing in a React Native environment and continuous integration with Jenkins, Github Actions or similar technologies.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
•Based in Bay Area, California: $155,125 - 182,500•Based in Colorado: $125,800 - 148,000•Based in New Jersey: $149,600 - 176,000•Based in New York: $149,600 - 176,000•Based in Seattle, Washington: $137,275 - 161,500
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
