Senior Manager of Product Design

The Role
TheGuarantors is looking for a senior manager to lead our UI/UX team, with a special emphasis on enhancing the user experience for our diverse user base. This role includes managing a team of designers and is a fantastic opportunity to define our product experience for our renters and operators, drive innovation, and deliver best-in-class product design. You will create current and future products and services, leveraging your expertise to engage customers and align with our design vision.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of talented UI/UX designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance design culture.
• Oversee the full design lifecycle, from strategic planning to final implementation, ensuring seamless execution.
• Drive change through data-backed design decisions, establishing UX metrics that influence user acquisition, activation, and retention on the platform.
• Contribute to future product ideation and design, playing a key role in shaping the evolution of our offerings.
• Design intuitive, visually compelling, and data-driven interfaces that empower property owners & renters to make informed decisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Data teams, to ensure high-quality craftsmanship in every design.
• Stay on the cutting edge of UI/UX design trends and real estate technology, providing thought leadership in design and user experience strategy.

What We Are Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design and 3+ years with proven leadership of mature design teams within a tech-driven environment.
• Expertise in designing for B2B or B2B2C SaaS platforms, particularly within the fintech or proptech industries.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in user-centered design, creative strategy, robust design systems, and user research methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage and execute design projects end-to-end, with a deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Proficiency in key design and research tools (e.g., Figma, UserTesting, FullStory, PowerBI, HubSpot, Dovetail, etc.).
• A passion for thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup or scale-up environment.

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $180,000 - $200,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
