Position Summary

HackerOne is looking for a Senior Manager, Regional Marketing to lead the strategic direction, implementation, and enhancement of marketing endeavors across North America. This role demands a trailblazer who can significantly bolster brand recognition, fuel demand generation, and foster customer engagement throughout the region. The Senior Manager, Regional Marketing, along with their team of three, will coordinate diverse marketing functions, from orchestrating impactful events to cultivating customer relationships and crafting targeted regional campaigns. You will have a direct impact as HackerOne moves into its next stage of growth. 

This role reports directly to the VP of Growth Marketing and is located remotely in the United States.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement, and demand generation in North America, aligning with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of regional events and conferences, including industry tradeshows, customer conferences, and virtual events, to maximize brand exposure, lead generation, and customer retention.

  • Guide and inspire a team comprising of field marketing, customer marketing, and events, fostering their growth and success through exemplary leadership that embodies our core values.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and integration of regional marketing initiatives with broader company initiatives and goals.

  • Lead the Customer Marketing program to develop and implement strategies for customer advocacy, reference programs, and customer engagement activities, leveraging customer insights and feedback to drive loyalty and retention.

  • Manage regional marketing budgets, track expenses, and evaluate ROI to optimize resource allocation and maximize marketing impact.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, vendors, and industry influencers, to support marketing objectives and enhance HackerOne's presence in the market.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies to identify new opportunities and best practices for continuous improvement and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications  
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on regional or field marketing in the technology or cybersecurity industry

  • Proven track record of planning and executing demand generations; including, regional marketing campaigns and events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • Experience owning a comprehensive marketing budget 

  • Track record of owning and optimizing customer up-sell/cross-sell campaigns

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving, leveraging analytics and KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo to achieve marketing objectives and business goals

  • Ability to travel as needed for events, customer meetings, and other business-related activities (estimated travel up to 25%)

  • Must be based remotely in United States. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding and/or experience in the cybersecurity space

  • Previous experience working closely with sales or Sales Development Representative (SDR) positions

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing customer advocacy programs

  • Background in implementing effective partner marketing initiatives

Compensation Bands:
Tier Guide

Tier A: $160,000 - $176,000

Tier B: $139,400 - $174,200

Tier C: $136,000 - $170,000
