The role:
Financial planning and analysis enables Galileo to develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, built on strong relationships and grounded in facts.
What youâll do:
- Lead revenue forecasting efforts by analyzing historical data and market trends, as well as working cross functionally with revenue management teams, to produce accurate financial projections.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support key decision-making processes and business strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Conduct variance reporting by comparing actual financial performance to forecasts, and explain key drivers of discrepancies.
What youâll need:
- 3+ years of related experience, ideally in financial planning and analysisÂ
- Great modeling skills with the ability to create models from scratch, manipulate large data sets and summarize insightsÂ
- Strong Microsoft Powerpoint or Google Slides presentation skills, and familiarity with financial planning systems
- An analytical and inquisitive mindset, ability to solve problems, strong work ethic, attention to detail, prompt and clear communication skills, time and project management skills, positive attitude, and a results orientation
- Ability to prepare, present and influence at the executive level by building strong cross-functional relationshipsÂ
- Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
