1Password is looking for a Senior Accountant, Tax to join our growing tax team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Tax, and will be responsible for all our global indirect tax compliance filings (especially in Canada and the US), including but not limited to sales and use tax, GST, HST, QST, PST & VAT Tax filings and reconciliations. In addition, the Senior Accountant, Tax will support management to ensure compliance with various Canadian provincial and US state requirements and will assist with tax research to provide technical support on all indirect tax matters. This role will partner with operations, finance, IT, legal and external advisors to address complex sales tax issues. The Sr. Accountant, Tax, will play a key role in maintaining compliance with tax laws on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as needed, supporting financial reporting and providing valuable insights to optimize our overall tax position.
