Sales Manager – North America (Glass Industry Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the fused-silica glass manufacturing industry is seeking an entrepreneurial North American Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead OEM business development efforts for accounts across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. The position involves a blend of responsibilities, with 60% focused on hands-on sales and 40% on team leadership. The ideal candidate will be a proven hunter and team leader with a track record of growing territories through relationship building and developing commercial strategies to deliver B2B solutions. Success in this role requires setting ambitious goals, being data-driven, and having experience designing and implementing account plans from the ground up. Sales Manager – North America (Glass Industry Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

•    Lead glass & non-glass B2B commercial activities across US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil
•    Manage a team of 5 direct reports (1 customer service + 4 remote sales professionals)
•    Conduct sales meetings and visit 5+ customers per month
•    Hunt for new business (30%) and expand existing accounts (70%)
•    Execute sales strategies to support territory growth goals
•    Support commercial strategies & customer solutions for both large and small OEM accounts
•    Manage customer contract negotiations, from bid process to closing deals
•    Develop account plans and sales forecasts for budgeting
•    Oversee S&OP processes to ensure supply efficiency
•    Leverage data to drive decision making
•    Collaborate with global marketing & technology teams to drive business initiatives
•    Solve value chain issues to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Sales Manager – North America (Glass Industry Exp. Req.) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree is required
•    10+ years of high-growth B2B sales experience, including the glass industry, is required
•    Experience growing top-line sales through hunting and relationship development is required
•    Team management & sales leadership experience is required
•    Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) & data analysis skills are required
•    Ability to attend a 2-week new hire training in France + 2 additional trips per year is required
