About the Role

The Registered Nurse Manager is a critical role on the Galileo care team. This individual will lead a team of RNs and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care when they have a clinical concern.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Direct management of triage Registered Nurses, including management of their SLAs related to clinical support for incoming patient communications
  • Act as the liaison for credentialing and product management for RN-related issues
  • Work to streamline Triage Phone line processes and workflows
  • Build and roll out RN related triage/RX protocols in collaboration with our Physician liaison
  • In addition to team leadership work, spend 12-16 hours a week collaborating with clinical care teams to provide excellent patient care and doing triage work during a portion of the week which includes conducting phone assessments of clinical symptoms to determine the best path of care
  • Assist in the development of processes and systems for urgent care and virtual triage
  • Work will be both phone based and asynchronous messaging-based

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

  • Licensed RN with 4+ years experience doing clinical triage with a preferred mix of high acuity clinical environments, prenatal, and/or pediatric experience
  • Compact state licensure
  • 2+ years experience effectively managing teams
  • Familiar with RN triage protocol and comfort encouraging RNs to work toward the top level of their licensing
  • Technology proficiency required
  • Excellent knowledge of chronic disease states and complex medical conditions

Compensation: Hourly rate that equates to between $105,000 to $110,000 annually, with 30 days PTO a year
