[Remote] Sales Account Representative Description

Our client, an industrial packaging supplier, is looking for a motivated Sales Account Representative to drive sales initiatives across the New York/New England region. You will be responsible for growing and managing customer accounts in your designated territory. While relationship building is a significant component of a successful sale, most customer interaction is done virtually, so you will spend the majority of your time working in your home office. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the packaging industry, having sold the products in a B2B capacity and managed a sale from inception to completion. To be successful in this role, you must be a well-rounded self-starter strongly motivated by the untapped potential to grow your assigned market. With most leads stemming from your discovery, a hunter mentality is a must. • Identify new sales opportunities
• Manage the sales process to meet or exceed territory sales goals
• Compile weekly sales reports
• Maintain a sales dashboard
• Identify, implement, and manage new tools to drive sales efficiency and reporting
• Increase revenue by developing and nurturing customer relationships

• 2+ years of B2B packaging sales experience required
• Proficiency with CRM software required
• Prospecting and cold calling experience required
