Job Description

The Recruiting Senior Consultant II specializes in legal talent acquisition, managing mid-to-high level searches for law firms, corporate legal departments, and other legal entities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all aspects of legal recruitment. The consultant develops, directs, plans, and evaluates external and internal recruitment activities to meet the organization's legal talent requirements. They utilize extensive knowledge of the legal industry, benchmarking, best practices, and internal or external business issues to enhance customer service. The Senior Consultant II tackles complex legal recruitment challenges and serves as a subject matter expert for colleagues with less experience in the legal field.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Viewed as a subject-matter expert in legal recruiting, influencing clients at an organizational level.
  • Participate in client/TA projects related to legal staffing strategies or business changes.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of skills and competencies required for various legal positions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the legal recruitment process.
  • Identify, interview, and submit the strongest legal candidates to hiring managers.
  • Perform full-cycle recruiting for legal positions, maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Consult with stakeholders to deliver legal staffing strategies aligned with business goals and talent philosophy.
  • ability to influence and negotiate offers for corporate level positions; understanding of Allstate’s compensation practices and philosophies.
  • Knowledge and practice use of Talent Acquisition technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems, HiredScore, LinkedIn as well as candidate sourcing techniques.
  • Strong data analysis top communicate market trends and hiring insights.
  • Strong attention to detail in creation of job postings, system usage and offers.

Education

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 3 or more years of relevant recruiting experience (Preferred)

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust recruitment strategies based on changing business needs or market conditions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proficient in developing and implementing staffing strategies that align with organizational goals and client needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Talent Acquisition Expertise: In-depth knowledge of recruiting methodologies, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify challenges in the recruitment process and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
