Remote, MN

DTN is a global leader providing insights and analytics to our customers to feed, fuel, and protect the world. We help people make critical business decisions that impact the agriculture, oil and gas, trading, and weather industries.

It’s a difference you’ve likely felt without even knowing it. From the food on your plate to the gas in your car to the last flight you took, chances are a DTN customer made it possible. And that’s just for starters. That’s why we say, “When our customers prosper, we all win.”

Job Description:

As an Industry Product Marketing Manager, you’ll immerse yourself in understanding how our customers evaluate DTN’s portfolio within an industry sector (Agriculture, Energy & Refined Fuels, or Weather and Climate Intelligence). This is not your typical product marketing role — you’ll sit within the Product team, playing a vital role in supporting cross-functional efforts including product launches, revenue retention strategies, and customer upselling initiatives. It’s also fully remote, so you can work where you work best.

We’re searching for a confident and inquisitive individual who can champion our customers' needs, even in the face of complexity. We focus on three things in Product Marketing: market research (you must be curious), messaging (you must be a great writer), and GTM planning (you must be organized, with a bias towards action).

If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Conduct customer interviews and design surveys to uncover opportunities for Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales teams.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on market and customer sentiment.
  • Assist in understanding product-market fit, segmentation, and ROI criteria.
  • Aid in evaluating competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Develop buyer personas to drive product adoption.
  • Refine product value propositions and messaging.
  • Generate sales and marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of strategic marketing plans and report monthly progress.
  • Support education efforts on new product features.
  • Assist in coordinating product releases and providing support.
  • Interpret and relay product roadmaps to stakeholders.
  • Learn about the portfolio and users to contribute to growth strategies.
  • Continuously test and optimize content, tactics, and messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to support initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B product marketing experience in enterprise software/SaaS
  • Fuel supply chain/industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in complex solution sales, partner management, and multi-audience sales cycles.
  • Strong storytelling and writing …
