The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Logistics Analyst - Freight Settlement, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provide analytical analysis for all aspects of freight settlement relative to carriers, businesses, and third parties.
  • Financial ownership for USAC Enterprise Supply Chain end of month and monthly payment metrics.
  • Support benchmarking and KPI's through data collection, mining, and configuration.
  • Own end to end processing and three-way match function through internal and external systems while ensuring both quality and service standards are being exceeded.
  • Lead Carrier and vendor setups, changes, alterations, and terms alignment with sourcing.
  • Implements process improvements with 3rd party invoice audit provider that increase on time invoice payment %, Lights out invoice processing % and productivity levels.
  • Determine, in conjunction with the Freight Settlement organization, that SAP TM is executing in accordance with the global design and identify technical enhancements which will drive improvements in accuracy and productivity.
  • Supports monthly freight P & L reporting through monitoring of key metrics and engagement with Finance to ensure freight costs are accrued in a timely and accurate manner.

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

-OR-

  • Associates degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and Minimum two (2) years of Freight Settlement experience auditing FTL, LTL and IM invoices in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets and proficient with Excel.
