LEAF Asset Management Specialist

Overview:
Responsible for managing assigned end-of-lease portfolio to maximize income including, but not limited to, renewal collection and asset sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage an assigned end-of-lease portfolio to follow-up on requests for quotes, letters of intent, concessions for dealers and customers.
Log letters of intent in the appropriate systems on a timely basis. Notify the dealer of pertinent information and provide all upgrade and buyout quotes as appropriate and requested.
Send customer end-of-lease option letters, buyout quotes, and/or return authorization letters on a timely basis.
Work delinquent renewal leases by making collection calls and sending customers emails and invoices from the assigned portfolio.
Manage the equipment return process, including sending return authorizations, monitoring return statuses, processing condition reports, and ensuring remarketer proceeds are posted timely.
Review unapplied cash and wire report to identify payments received in the lockbox for assigned portfolio and submit to accounting for posting.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or related work experience
Education and Experience Preferred:
Prior leasing collections, customer service, and/or operations experience
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Proven organizational skills
Proven time management skills
Detail-oriented
Proven verbal and written communication skills

The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
