We are seeking a Manager, Tech Integration and Execution, for the Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team. In this role, you would be responsible for coordinating hardware improvements and installations, working closely with tech teams providing feedback, and driving improvement performance of the computer and electronic systems used at gate check in/check out and yards. You will make appropriate tradeoffs; communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.

The desired candidate will possess a strong analytical and program management background, a high level of technical expertise, and have demonstrated experience leading large-scale initiatives. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to drive strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dive in and get the job done. As a Program Manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, escalate appropriately, and balance business demands. An ability to seek out and take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, and then deliver them in a timely manner is essential to success in the role.

As a Manager within the TOM Tech Integration and Execution team, you will support initiatives to innovate and implement automated solutions to drive operations excellence in the transportation space. This role will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with Business, Finance, and Tech stakeholders. You will need to have the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.

Key Responsibilities
· Aid program management with developing business requirements based on real world feedback for new hardware and software technologies
· Innovate and develop process improvement opportunities in yard and gate technology
· Provide systematic pilot testing on new technology with go/no-go advice
· Lead team of associates and ensure tech support is being provided for gate and yard hardware systems
· Identify appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability.
· Build project plans, balancing needs with project risks and resource ambiguity
· Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to analyze, implement and monitor best practice solutions

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics or related field
· 5+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent education/experience
· 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams
· Demonstrated experience leading and owning cross-functional programs
· Demonstrated experience owning the design, implementation, and optimization of initiatives at scale
· Experience with data mining and data analysis
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
· Practical application of program management methodology including PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
· Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, or Microsoft Access
· Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment
· Experience handling changing priorities and using good judgment when working in stressful situations
· Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
· Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
· Executive level written and oral communication skills
· High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
· Demonstrated success in thinking strategically and executing methodically
· Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
· Demonstrated experience communicating data insights to others, including use of data visualization tools
· Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape
