Our Data Marketplace organization is seeking Business Development leaders to help acquire content and drive usage.  Reporting to the Vice President of the Data Marketplace you will have a unique opportunity to work for a proven business builder.  In this role, you will strategically plan and deliver a cross-functional strategy while engaging with new and existing Marketplace Partners.  

We are looking for individuals who understand the data business and how to grow and manage a list of accounts. In addition to recruiting and enabling partners, you will be responsible for the creation and management of the Go-to-Market. 


  • Evangelize, enable and develop go-to-market strategies with the Data Partner community 
  • Develop best practices to engage with data partners, escalate issues, and set clear expectations with data providers on working with Snowflake
  • Develop partner-specific account plans to include annual & quarterly goals, marketing support, requirements, etc.
  • Manage a portfolio of high performing data providers to achieve partnership goals 
  • Adhere to and support various program guidelines, rules, and measures as outlined in our Policies
  • Assist as needed in the development of required support materials for the program
  • Measure and report on the success of assigned partners
  • Help with recruitment, training, and onboarding of new partners


  • 3+ years of industry experience with direct sales, closing, partnership/alliances, marketing, or business development 
  • Prior background in software and SaaS, data sales, and data analytics a plus
  • Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% *once work-related travel resumes.    
  • Strong verbal and executive presentation skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative
