Senior Java Developer

It’s an amazing time to join our team and you’ll be supported by a rapidly growing team of experienced specialists in design research, UX, UI, Scrum, product, data and cyber security, alongside developers specialising in native, hybrid and web technologies.

This position will be based remotely (within the UK) or hybrid with some office presence at the Glasgow office, and is open to permanent candidates.

As an experienced Java Developer you should be a natural born problem solver – you’ll relish the challenge of having to solve complex problems and come up with brilliant solutions and products. You’ll be a strong communicator and able to get ideas across to the team and also be able to liaise with customers and clients.

Requirements

• Top level skills with modern Java languages (8 and above)

• Experience with Microservices (SpringBoot) and API's

• Skilled with Open Source technologies, such as Spring and Hibernate

• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms and associated technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)

• Experience working within financial services or other regulated environments is preferred

Desirable

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

• Experience with Testing frameworks like Wiremock
