We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our scrum team. The Senior Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, prioritizing these requests and coordinating sprints To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out products that deliver our company’s vision.


Responsibilities

  • Understand current consumer pain points, conversion bottlenecks, and monetization bottlenecks
  • Offer solutions to these bottlenecks, validate the solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to implement them
  • Work with external vendors and a cross-functional team to design and deliver the products
  • Incorporate feature requests into a product roadmap
  • Groom and prioritize backlogs
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
  • Set sprint goals
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints

Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
  • Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies and interpreting data and hyper-focused on user behavior and needs
  • Experience in fast-growing, app-first start ups
  • Ability to write requirements
  • Run scrum ceremonies
  • Autonomous, work independently, prioritize work, proactive to ensure completion
  • Data-driven - need to be able to back up costs and focus
  • Experience working with cross functional team
  • Strong collaborator and excellent communicator
  • Exceptional attention to detail, solutions oriented and motivated by impacting metrics
  • Familiarity with agile is a plus
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development life cycle and working on mobile apps
  • No direct reports right now - boots on the ground

  • Salary: $110,000- $130,000 (dependent on experience)
