  • Seek out, explore, and qualify business opportunities at senior levels with mid-market clients across the US. 
  • Own, nurture, and saturate named accounts. Both in cloud services consumption, as well as ensuring an outstanding client experience.  
  • Deliver against challenging but realistic sales targets in an expanding market. 
  • Work with internal Cloud Consultants, Architects, and Engineers to ensure projects closed and prospects pipelined have the resources and progress necessary to deliver world-class service levels. 
  • Establish and foster a good rapport with Microsoft Account Executives and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure the best partnership experience is delivered and commercial opportunities maximized. 
  • Generate net-new client engagements and relationships created from a series of lead sources such as partners, personal relationships, networking, industry events and organizations, and general business development efforts. 
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships and revenue. 
  • Develop proposals. 
  • Cross-sell within the Rackspace applications services group. 
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to identify and develop lead generation campaigns. 
  • Provide best practices, use case scenarios, and referenceable clients/projects.  
  • Create additional opportunities with current clients based on existing services, new offerings, and company initiatives. 


  • Experience selling strategic Technology Services, either from systems integration or other SaaS/Cloud-related services. 
  • Strong understanding of Azure’s products and services and the ability to communicate its value proposition.  
  • Experience selling consulting advisory and migration services. 
  • Ability to understand a client's business strategy and communicate how services can create change and transformation. 
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate a structured approach to solution selling. 
  • Ability to hold high-level technical conversations with key decision-makers to qualify opportunities.  
  • Ability to navigate companies that operate at scale both nationally and globally. 
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders within a portfolio. 
  • Experience with partner channel or reseller sales. 
  • Driven by success, highly personable, well organized with a strong ability to deliver to senior decision-makers. 
  • Travel up to 50%  
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA, or other advanced degrees. 
  • Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship. 
“The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is 187,200 – 299,000.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on benefits offered is here.”
