About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
Insights and Planning (I&P) maximizes and accelerates Operations' ability to make Stripe work for our users. We aspire to be the COOs for Stripe Ops, working cross-functionally with global teams to help run the day-to-day business and articulate and achieve the longer term, high effort, high value strategic priorities. We take a data-driven approach that combines strategy, analytics and core data infrastructure to help Ops leaders solve their most complex and most important issues while also driving the business planning and operational cadence end-to-end, from strategy to goal-setting to execution.

Responsibilities
- Wrangle large, highly complex datasets into actionable insights and become the data expert for your business area
- Scope and land strategic priorities and plans, surfacing critical insights, developing go-to-market and operating models, and driving execution and accountability

- Drive bottom-up planning activities in your business area to enable leadership to make strategic decisions, including near/medium/long-term planning
- Develop and analyze key metrics for the health of our user-facing and internal teams
- Guide the planning and goal-setting process for teams in Operations, as well as progress checks throughout the year
- Influence and drive cross-functional stakeholder management, building relationships with and credibility across a wide internal network including Operations, Product/Engineering, Data Science and more
- Provide insights that will inform and shape the strategic priorities in Operations
- Design, optimize and execute a standard cadence of operations to deliver operational insights (e.g., weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews) with operational efficiency and strong control
