A typical Aiven customer is a software engineer focusing on data infrastructure and backend development. We are looking for a technically savvy Customer Success Manager to own making a customer's existing footprint with Aiven a success - which includes: facilitating the enablement and empowerment of customers during their onboarding, maintaining ongoing customer relationships, advocating on behalf of their customers and coordinating internal technical teams (e.g. solution architects, support, product management), and coordinating with Aiven commercial teams for further growth opportunities.

The location for the position can be UK, Finland, Sweden, Spain, France, Italy or Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility of business growth by maximizing value for customers
  • Minimize customer churn
  • Manage and develop client portfolios
  • Navigate customer organizations smoothly from top to bottom
  • Analyze customer data to improve customer experience
  • Hold product demonstrations for customers
  • Handle and resolve customer requests and complaints
  • Manage the customers’ journey experience together with sales, support and product development
  • Requirements

    What we see as an advantage for a Customer Success Manager:

    • 3+ years of suitable working experience
    • Customer relationship experience with technical customers
    • Prior experience in working with technology, ideally software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. Experience with OpenSource and Cloud technologies is a plus
    • An aptitude for learning new technologies
    • Proactive problem solver and empathic communicator
    • Ability to juggle multiple customer projects simultaneously with efficient prioritisation skills
    • Fluency in English - any other language skills are a big advantage
