Manager, AWS Partner Journey

Job summary
AWS Partner Network (APN) Partner Journey team is responsible for the foundational structure for partner engagement with AWS. We are seeking a Manager to join our team to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of this Journey to include AWS Partner Paths; an innovative approach that accelerates partner engagement with AWS based on customer offering types, our Partner Tiers, our Partner Experience/Feedback mechanisms, as well as other critical initiatives. This role is responsible for the iteration and growth of the Partner Journey strategy, design and execution. Responsibilities include. The Manager in this role will work closely with various teams including APN Delivery, APN Systems, APN Enablement, Partner Marketing, T&C and other organizations that support and depend on the Journey framework to engage with partners. This role will also be a key owner of Analyst and PR relations as related to AWS Partners. Key to success will be developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing a framework for connecting teams that build programs, resources and tools that drive partner engagement. This role is responsible to drive the overall success of the Journey and communicate milestones to senior leaders in cross-functional organizations.
Key job responsibilities
·Hire, Lead, and Develop a strong team of Senior Level business developers
·Own and evolve structure of the global APN partner program (Partner Paths), including associated requirements and benefits
·Create messaging and value proposition story for partners
·Work with and influence analysts and media to land and evolve messaging
·Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to create a compelling partner program that drives partners’ investment and business growth
·Continuously improve the experience for core partner business processes, including: end-to-end partner lifecycle, recruiting partners, onboarding and offboarding partners, and management of partners.
·Understand and advocate for the current partner experience and partner business objectives.
·Define a comprehensive, customer-centric partner program that provides mutual benefit across sales, marketing, enablement, development, and support.
·Bring a point of view on how to leverage proper tool usage to drive transformation in the global partner program (i.e., Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools, Partner Portal, etc.)
• 10+ years’ experience in leading an Org in product/program management for a tech business
• Strong executive presence, with ability to interact with senior executives internally and at partner companies
• Analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get things done (self-starter) and deliver results
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor's or equivalent degree, ideally in psychology, cognitive science, Human Factors, or related field
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience in leading an Org in product/program management for a tech business
• Strong executive presence, with ability to interact with senior executives internally and at partner companies
