Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business team that is changing the way customers shop across categories? Discovery Tech is looking for a self-directed, results-oriented PM with exceptional communication and project management skills and ideally experience working with both business and technical teams. You will have the opportunity to build bridging mechanisms between tech and marketing to support and empower Marketing teams across Amazon to operate more efficiently and at scale via communication, collaboration, feedback intake, and education tactics and programs.

In this role, you will collaborate across multiple retail teams, including category marketing teams and central partner teams, to inform, consolidate, and prioritize the marketing tools roadmaps based on NAC marketers' needs with a focus on scale and automation. This role is highly strategic and visible, and will define best practices for managing high-value retail marketing programs. Successful candidates will have marketing experience at Amazon; they will be comfortable diving deep into internal needs and pain points, recommend, and deploy solutions; they will be result-driven and able to demonstrate success through clear KPIs. They will have a balance of business, analytical, and project management skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders and partners to achieve goals, work effectively with large cross-functional teams, and communicate confidently with executive leaders. This role is a great opportunity for a marketing manager who is interested in working closer to marketing tech teams and transitioning into product marketing and program management.

Key job responsibilities
• Be the voice of NAC Marketing regarding cross-category marketing tools and processes.
• Implement recurring mechanisms for NAC Marketing teams to come together, share pain points and best-practices. Be a catalyst for tech and non-tech solutions that need a central approach.
• Implement recurring mechanisms for NAC marketing to contribute to the central marketing tools roadmap owned by central teams.
• Audit marketer’s pain points and prompt a custom marketing training program when solutions or tools exist.
• Develop a program that empowers marketing managers to develop and share expertise at scale through efficient allocation of resources (e.g. cross-org SMEship program).
• Communicate effectively the state of initiatives and goals assigned and work autonomously with stakeholders and partner teams to remove any blockers.
• Develop metrics, goals, and KPIs to measure and track business results.

About the team
The newly developed Discovery Tech team supports all NAC retail marketers at Amazon. The team creates cutting-edge, automated content solutions for customers to discover new, popular, and relevant products across categories, and empowers marketing managers with best-in-class tools. We do this by combining technology, science, marketing, and creativity on the same team. We are looking for creative, customer-obsessed, curious and highly entrepreneurial Product Managers to join our team.

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years mix of product marketing/product/program management, and retail marketing or vendor management experience, preferably in the e-commerce space.
· Proven ability to solve problems, think big and innovate at scale.
· Demonstrated results in managing complex processes with multiple stakeholders and partners, while making trade-offs against priorities.
. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent analytical skills, with ability to dive deep into business opportunities leveraging data and insights.
· High standards for execution and commitment to delivering results.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders including executive leaders.
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and deliver results while in new situations, then put defined processes in place.

. Knowledge of content management / marketing / reporting tools, preferably at Amazon.
. Experience in large scale product marketing, program or product management.
· Strong business and technical vision, demonstrated in previous experience working with tech teams.
. Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical senior stakeholders across multiple business units.
. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
· MBA or equivalent master’s degree is a plus.
