We’re looking for a public relations professional with a growth mindset, innovative thinking and collaborative style who thrives in a fast-paced environment to help amplify Talkdesk’s brand awareness in EMEA.


  • Coordinate all public relations activities for the region
  • Develop an EMEA-specific public relations plan, including media strategy (with a core focus on seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media)
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Support creation of content for press releases, byline articles and speaker presentations
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate results on a quarterly basis, in conjunction with Talkdesk corporate public relations
  • Prep spokespeople for media engagement
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness


  • Five to seven years of experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, at a minimum
  • Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to write compelling copy are a must
  • A track record of developing and delivering communication strategies
  • Experience of working closely with journalists and responding to media requests
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience working with international teams 
  • Strong project management and decision-making skills
  • Experience in briefing senior spokespeople
  • Fluency in a second European language—French, German, Spanish, Italian or other—is a plus
  • Mastery of AP Style a plus
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, public relations, journalism or other relevant area
