As a Software Engineer on the IT team, you will help us build, improve, and maintain internal tools that are used to manage the SecurityScorecard SaaS products.  The team’s mission is to enable internal users to manage our platform via UI configurations instead of code.

 

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and maintain systems for internal use.
  • Integrate components in internal tools that support Product Engineering platform features.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the internal to maintain stability and optimal performance.
  • Work with the Product Engineering teams to determine features that will be needed to support product development.

 

Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, equivalent STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
  • You have at least 2 years of software development experience
  • Exceptional skills in either Python, Ruby on Rails, or React.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery.
  • Creating software running in a cloud environment.
  • Biased towards writing quality software.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
  • Experience working with a remote and distributed team.
  • Available to work in timezone UTC -4 to -8.

 

Interview Process:

  • Initial Conversation with the hiring manager
  • Take home technical/coding assessment
  • Technical Interview with 1 - 2 software engineers. This may include live coding in Java, Scala, Go, or similar language.
  • Final Interview: Meet Senior Tech Leader (Director, VP or SVP)
