Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a compelling sales strategy and plan for growing Managed Connectivity within the United Kingdom and Ireland in line with global Managed Connectivity GTM plan (20%)
- Sierra ambassador of managed connectivity Serve as the key point of contact at industry events and conferencesPromotion of Sierra Managed Connectivity to identified customers (virtually and face to face) (30%)
- Build New Buisness Pipeline and Clsoing New Business Wins. (50%) Close working relashionship with Product Management and Finance to build winning customer proposal.Side by side teamwork with Technical Sales to evangelize Sierra Managed Connectivity, build pipeline and win new businessExceed stated sales quota by winning new contracts and ensuring they convert to fee paying activatio
Required experience, Educations and Competencies
- 10+ years of solution selling experience, with emphasis on IoT, services, and solutions.
- Strong knowlede of UK / Ireland Connectivity ecosytem ; “ready to sell”
- Experience utilizing Salesforce.com as sales enablement platform
- Excellent overall business acumen including expert level presentation
- Ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization (virtually & in-person)
- Prior experience building and executing sales training programs is preferred
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work while under significant deadline pressure
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to take direction from multiple sources and create a shared vision
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous sales, sales operations or sales management experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Eloqua, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Slack
- Excellent people skills, including experience working with a variety of inter-departmental and international stakeholders.
Desired Education, Experience and Competencies
- Experience in the Internet of Things/ Connectivity and services
- Bachelors or Masters degree strongly preferred in business, marketing, or technical field
