This position
As a member of the core Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity (DIBE) team at DocuSign, the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator will support logistics, project management and communication of our strategic initiatives to ensure our efforts are well planned, communicated and carried out. In partnership with the Sr. Manager of DIBE this role will also support our Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s). Our team collaborates with leaders and colleagues around the world to help ensure that DocuSign is a place where every employee is fully enabled to do the work of their lives. We support our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), organize companywide events that advance dialogue and awareness, partner with leaders across the business on impacting inclusion and belonging for their teams and work closely with our HR colleagues to make our overall employee experience and culture more inclusive. On our team, no two days are the same and the work we do is both challenging and rewarding.
This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Chief Diversity & Engagement Officer and is designated Flex.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Equity (DIBE) team
- Support event planning and logistics for our 10+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Manage and own our internal team email account
- Support budget tracking for ERGs
- Assist in vendor onboarding, procurement and other processes related to DIBs programs
- Help create scalable processes for our team to work efficiently and effectively
- Support internal communication campaigns proactively in partnership with larger team
- Manage logistics for internal DIBE events
- Submit marketing requests for internal and external needs
- Create and edit reports, presentations, and other documents that support Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives
- Support meeting prep and planning for the diversity and inclusion council and working groups
- Draft communication pieces for internal and external audiences such as emails, blog posts and events
- Support participation in external diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging studies and awards
- Develop suggestions on initiatives to take within the organization to advance diversity, inclusion and belonging
Basic qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in project management, communications, or marketing
Preferred qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience writing for a variety of communication channels
- High level of personal integrity, strong cultural competence and ability to partner across differences
- Experience supporting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging programs with a strong understanding of current subjects and best practices
- Proven project management, time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize, plan ahead and manage multiple projects at once
- Experience supporting global diversity and inclusion efforts across multiple regions
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple communication channels
- Comfortable working in a fast pace, high growth environment
- Previous experience working with employee resource groups, business resource groups or affinity groups
- Experience presenting to large audiences either in person or virtually
- BA/BS degree in communication, business, marketing, or other relevant major, Associates degree and/or additional relevant work experience in project management, communications, marketing, or another relevant field
Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado hourly pay range: $25.72/hour - $33.40/hour and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits at https://www.docusign.com/company/benefits.
