In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will lead the charter of offering superior platform capabilities, tools, and price-performance for customer insights for Enterprise Workloads migration on AWS. Customer Insights Manager is a strategic business leader within AWS partner organization who works collaboratively with Partners, Sales, Product, and Marketing organizations as well as directly with prospective clients and existing customers. He / she will own strategic customer research and insights plan focused on technical ROI associated with moving on-premise software to public cloud. He/ She will create strong value proposition by understanding customers' buying pattern and behavior based on observations across the board. He / she will create clear and measurable TCO and ROI models for customers to adopt to joint partner offerings. He /she will help prioritize AWS investment to drive insight driven partner investment plan. He/she will Develop strong foundation from customer insights from constant customer feedback, and create strong knowledgebase of assets, capabilities, and reference-able customer engagements. He/she will proactively develop and report industry trends for workload migrations on AWS and engage with the leading research providers to create AWS point of view. He/she will drive collaboration and integration between AWS analyst research team to create comprehensive AWS perspective for workload migration.You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence and leadership are essential to success in this role. You are data-driven and analytical. You can clearly & effectively communicate (written as well as verbally) across organizations and up to senior leadership. You have excellent analytical skills, strong business writing skills, services-based business experience, and the desire to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. As a product management leader, you will part of the larger technical leadership community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative new solutions rapidly.

Summary of the role expectations:

• Develop deep customer understanding, employ a range of quantitative and qualitative research approaches plus big data techniques that are both innovative and pragmatic.
• Discover why customers behave as they do at every phase of workload migration decision journey, understand customers’ experiences, and dig deeply into best drivers of customer commitment. By applying these insights, help develop innovative and differentiated program offers and marketing strategies that include effective value propositions, segmentation, pricing, and customer experiences.
• Discover customer insights by analyzing multiple data sources. Identify and source both relevant internal and external data, and help utilize the necessary tools. Focus on speed to deliver consumer insights quickly as needed.
• Help design programs based on the insights generated. Work with leaders and frontline users to develop internal processes and incentives as well as a culture that uses insights for profitable decision making. Build prediction and optimization models, for example, to focus on the biggest drivers of value. These models balance complexity with ease of use. In setting up programs, aim is to create an ongoing “insights factory.”
• Deliver insights-driven growth for the short- and long-term. Develop simple tools for the consulting partners and provide training in how to use them to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
• Build a track record of success in identifying and applying best practices to create insights-driven approach and program offers cross range of on-premise application workloads.
• Work on key Prospects, Customers and Partners to identify the full opportunity to deliver impact to their business, elevate the discussion, and collaborate with consulting partners on strategy to win the business.
• Quickly synthesize key business strategies with deep domain expertise to create clear connectivity and alignment.
• Develop custom quantitative analysis, including but not limited to ROI, TCO, and Benchmarking, in-depth value & financial modeling and adjusting and/or developing based on individual client & prospect strategies and needs.
• Build the entire Value Engagement lifecycle, including: executive pre-discovery and pitch work with partner, to formal on-site Discovery with the client, and finally to validation of the recommendation themes framed and final client executive delivery.


Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
· Exceptional project management skills with capacity to manage a large number competing priorities simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
· Excellent analytical skills with ability to provide big picture insights from highly granular data
