The Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our People Operations department and oversee full-cycle Technical recruiting. In this role, you will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and work closely with hiring managers, directors, and VPs to identify hiring needs and determine selection criteria for each role. Sourcing, interview planning, job description editing, and taking part in the interview process (from screening thru offer) will be the core operations of this role. On a strategic level you will lead our technical recruitment branding efforts as well as organize and attend recruitment events.

About the Team

This role is in our People Operations Department. Our People Ops team members are spread throughout the United States and Hungary with diverse backgrounds across the fields of hospitality, marketing, compliance, and technology. This is a small but mighty team that has a passion for creating impactful and memorable experiences that strengthen our employees' journeys at Kasa. The People Ops team develops its initiatives around 3 main objectives: 1) Compliance and Infrastructure, 2) Talent Acquisition, Training, and Development, and 3) Culture and Engagement. Our mission is to evolve our people infrastructure, develop a world-class talent acquisition & training capability, and build upon a vibrant remote company culture.

Day in the life of a Kasa Senior Technical Recruiter

Your week will start by outlining a detailed candidate recruiting plan to share with the Kasa hiring managers you support. Throughout the week, you will split your time between:

  • Sourcing top talent through creative methods and sources (social and professional networks, start-up and entrepreneurial communities, etc.)
  • Scheduling and conducting interviews while providing white glove hospitality-infused candidate experience
  • Hosting meetings with hiring managers that require hard-to-fill roles to determine blockers and new ways to engage top talent
  • Participating in People Operations meetings and work sessions to help drive the business forward

For the first few months, your focus will be on operationalizing Kasa's outbound, targeted candidate sourcing/messaging/interviewing for all technical roles and taking ownership of reviewing all inbound applicants too.


  • 7+ years of relevant technical recruiting experience with deep sourcing and email messaging success metrics you're proud to boast as industry-best
  • Experience understanding a diverse set of roles while expeditiously calibrating your sourcing with hiring managers. You know how to target the right candidate backgrounds, target companies, scrape through conferences, open-source communities, and more to streamline hiring
  • Track record of successfully identifying exceptional candidates. You know how to roll up your sleeves and write a boolean string on any site and you delight using cutting edge sourcing and messaging platforms that we have for you at Kasa.
  • Experience managing and building exclusive agency partnerships to augment occasional hiring
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills including comfort on the phone and video conferences
  • Recruiting tools and applicant tracking system extraordinaire, you understand how to get the most efficiency and automation out of your tools, and how to make them work smoothly together to minimize redundancy in your work.
  • Tact, tenacity, grit, self-assurance, ability to think on one's feet and to know when to apply more pressure and when to give in
  • You are an expert in your field, have a strong EQ, and are excited to work on other People Operations initiatives non-related to recruiting
  • Travel is part of your DNA and you have a passion for the real estate, tech, and hospitality industry
