We are looking for a junior technical writer interested in joining our team. This writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining educational content that empowers our internal teams to effectively communicate and use our products. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. 
You will work under the direction of more senior technical writers. You’ll work collaboratively with Product Marketing and Client Strategy to perform hands-on research and to obtain the necessary technical content from subject matter experts and then translate it into clear, concise, structured documentation. This means sometimes you are documenting something yourself, sometimes you are editing contributed content from someone else, and other times you are fixing and reorganizing existing documentation.

  • Researches information on our tools by using available resources and having conversations with subject matter experts
  • Produces, as directed, the proper documentation for end-user and internal customers, primarily Client Services
  • Supports the Product Marketing Managers (PMM) through all launches, as needed/tasked
  • Supports 2 Tech Writers and serves as backup, as needed/tasked 

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience working in B2B SaaS and/or enterprise software industry experience or recent graduate with a technical degree 
  • Strong written communications skills including stellar grammar and proofreading. Minor in English a real plus! 
  • The ability to take in large quantities of complex information and organize/distill in a way that’s useful for different audience types
  • Enjoys explaining new and complex concepts to both experts and non-experts
  • Comfortable managing many projects and deadlines across a variety of stakeholders
  • Enjoys working as part of a team where priorities shift as needed, but can work independently, too.
  • G-suite literate
  • Bonus: Knowledge of the tools of the trade including Zendesk, Confluence
