Clinical Engagement Specialist

Holmusk is a data science and digital health company building the largest Real World Evidence platform for mental health, generating evidence and developing digital solutions which advance health research, innovation and care.
Due to our continued growth and recent acquisition of the award-winning Management and Supervision Tool (MaST) they are now looking for a Clinical Engagement Specialist to join their UK based team. As an experienced Clinical Professional, you will work alongside our Clinical Lead delivering the important role of engaging and training health professionals and healthcare managers at client sites making a real impact in mental health. This is an ideal opportunity to help clients in mental health services solve complex problems with digital health solutions and make a real difference to patients and health professionals in a dynamic, flexible and fast-paced start-up environment.

The role:

• Preparation and facilitation of engagement and training activities at NHS Mental Health Trusts
• Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Programme Manager to ensure mental health practitioners are willing and able to adopt MaST (and other future digital solutions) into their daily practice
• Development and maintenance of a deep understanding of MaST (and other future digital solutions) including the underlying data and analysis to ensure that the product delivers value for mental health practitioners and is clinically relevant and safe
• Carrying out extensive clinical testing and validation of digital solutions pre-launch, when functionality changes and routinely to ensure the highest quality standards
• Working closely with NHS staff to gather feedback on the products and make recommendations to the development team about valuable improvements
• Working and sharing insights with the wider Holmusk team
• Developing expertise in and upholding information governance, clinical safety requirements and ethical standards

The person:

• Registered clinician or associated health professional with experience of working in a mental health environment (experienced band 6 or 7)
• Specific experience of enabling behaviour change and adopting new ways of working
• Confident in presenting information and delivering learning materials to a wide audience (in person and remotely)
• Knowledge of tools, services and approaches used in mental health services (recovery planning, risk assessment, CPA)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders’ priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, proactive and detail-oriented
• Willingness to travel, primarily in the UK

This is a full time, permanent role with flexible hours – you will be home-based but expected to travel to clients across the UK. A full UK driving licence and your own transport is required.
