Responsible for the definition and ex-post evaluation of the fraud underwriting strategies using a framework that optimize the tradeoff between growth and fraud prevention in our different acquisitions channels for Buy Now Pay later (BNPL) in Colombia and Brazil (for now).

This person will work close with credit, product, data science, fraud operations and go to market teams. A successful candidate will require to define policies using analytics, balance origination and risk to prevent fraudulent originations from third parties and first party individuals


  • Define Addi fraud policies for BNPL in Colombia for our different acquisition channels and establish a framework to measure the efficiency of the policy
  • Mentor Business Analysts and work in the creation of a high impact Fraud Business Analytics team.
  • Give follow up to the measurement of our risk decisions with a strong monitoring of swap ins and swap outs from our policies.
  • Build a feedback loop between fraud operations, go to market and customer experience to detect new fraud vectors or false positives


  • 3+ years working in risk for credit
  • Understanding of identity theft
  • Solid knowledge of SQL
  • Fluency in Python, R, Scala, SAS or Matlab
  • Ability to boldly communicate policies and data insights to the whole organization (risk committee, management team, product and GTM)
