Our product and engineering teams develop apps used by our members, tools used by our field teams that are powered by a sophisticated analytics platform, and infrastructure that services our operations and health plans customers. We are now seeking a Solutions Engineer who will work with our Product, Marketing, and Account Management teams to understand our customers' business challenges, create prototypes and lightweight solutions to support experiments and initiatives in the field, and then work with the Product team and other Engineering resources to integrate those prototypes back into the main product suite.

Tech Stack

We use Salesforce and AWS as the primary pieces of our technology stack, but we also utilize other frameworks as well such as NodeJS. Our current infrastructure also includes Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, and Jenkins. We are open to using other technologies for the prototypes and lightweight solutions, but they will ultimately need to integrate with our existing production systems, and the more we can standardize on a specific set of technologies, the better.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements
• Collaborate with other team members on design and architecture
• Implement new features and functionality
• Fix problems and enhance capabilities in existing products
• Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure quality and correctness
• Work in an agile environment including sprints, standups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate and work closely with Director of Engineering and other developers

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, focused on full stack development.
• Solid understanding of at least one of the following languages: Java or C#
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as NodeJS
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
• Prior experience with Salesforce experience would be a plus
• Good understanding of SQL and database expertise
• Experience with telecommunications platforms, such as Twilio, is a plus
• Experience with HIPAA compliance, HITRUST and healthcare security a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
