SemanticBits, LLC is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to monitor and maintain compliance of our contracts with regard to legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. The Contracts Administrator will support all phases of contract award, administration, and closeout. This position will work closely with Executive Management, Legal Director, Program Managers, and the Accounting team. This individual should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed to manage multiple, simultaneous contracts. Responsibilities

  • Prepares boilerplate and template agreements independently such as non-disclosure agreements and administrative contract letters
  • Manages subcontractors’ documents relating to compliance, modifications, and subcontracts
  • Maintains all files associated with contracts and ensures that all contract records are accurate and up to date
  • Performs external customer liaison activities, such as attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creates regular status reports regarding progress on projects
  • Interact with other departments, including Security and IT,  about contract requirements and issues
  • Works with the proposal team regarding contract proposals, budgeting, and teaming agreements, as needed
  • Collaborates with the Legal Director and Accounting team regarding the contract lifecycle system and work on that system, tracking contracts and contract approvals/executions and creating/generating reports on our contracts
  • Supports the Accounting team in responding to reviews and audits
  • Assists in the identification, development and implementation of new contract policies and procedure, and in the continual development of Contracts Administrative processes and procedures to better support our growth efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must reside in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in Federal Government Contracts Administration
  • Experience in a customer-oriented environment interacting with high level officials
  • Good understanding of FARs, SAM, and GSA Schedules, and IDIQ and BPA contract vehicles
  • Able to work productively both independently and as part of a team
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and time management skills
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Prior experience working remotely full-time
  • A paralegal certificate

Physical and emotional requirements for the job:

  • This position is to be performed remotely from an individual’s home office and involves sedentary work. Employees in this role can be expected to exert up to 10 pounds of force on occasion in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move standard electronic equipment. Employees are expected to make decisions in a timely manner and display emotional intelligence during occasional stressful situations.
