ROLE MISSIONThe IT Manager role plays a vital operational role supporting 15Five’s staff and organization-wide operations. This role enables 15Five employees and contractors to work more effectively by providing the support and education on how to use our core business applications, use their computers and other productivity tools. This role also ensures that our workstations are securely configured, monitors alerts from different management systems, and handles onboarding and offboarding of hardware. 
This role also includes responsibilities creating documentation about internal tools and business applications; administrating business applications; assisting in filling in security questionnaires for customers; participating in incident response and related tests; monitoring security tools on a daily basis and managing other members of the IT team. #LI-REMOTE


  • Workstation management and internal tool support
  • Ordering, cataloging and retiring workstations and other employee hardware
  • Coordinate internal helpdesk: Providing support to 15Five staff on issues with hardware and use of 15Five business applications and internal tools
  • Create and update documentation for internal tools so that employees can help themselves with common issues
  • Ensuring that all workstations are properly configured (security tools, antivirus, etc.)
  • Monitor antivirus alerts from workstations and work with end users to remediate any issues that cannot be automatically resolvedTune antivirus software based on vendor recommendations and performance impact to end users

  • Business Application Management
  • Configure and manage 15Five’s existing company-wide business applications (Okta, G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, Guru)

  • Information Security
  • Coordinate monitoring of endpoint antivirus and mobile device management events daily
  • Configure and audit access to business applications for new employees and on role changes
  • Work with the security staff to train employees on best practices
  • Work with engineering to develop and maintain automated code review pipelines, security gates, vulnerability scanning and other security tooling for our customer facing infrastructure
  • Assist in answering customer questions related to 15Five security posturing and providing relevant support


  • In depth knowledge of macOS and Windows
  • Experience managing Okta
  • Experience with Apple MDM solutions (Jamf Pro or Now, Fleetsmith, Hexnode, AirWatch, MobileIron)
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager or School Manager 
  • Basic ability to write Python or Bash
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Intune
  • Helpdesk, technical support, or customer service experiencePeople skills
  • Written and oral communication
  • Experience writing technical documentation or articles
  • Experience managing a small team of 2-5 people


  • By 3 Months 
  • Audit configuration of all 15Five workstations
  • Audit all BYOD devices for required configurations against 15Five security requirements
  • Familiarize yourself with 15Five internal toolsTake over day to day management of internal business applications and processes
  • Take over people management of IT team members

  • By 6 Months 
  • Providing support for all common escalations related to 15Five business applications (apart from those owned by RevOrg) 
  • Providing ad-hoc trainings to different departments on specific tools or security practices
  • Assist in evidence gathering for external audits
  • Create roadmap for IT tools and identify needs for next year budgets

  • By 12 Months 
  • Owning the management of the entire 15Five IT department
