Sr. Data Analyst - Pricing Strategy (Remote-LatAm)

We are Loadsmart and we have recently opened a new role: Sr. Data Analyst in Pricing Strategy & Analytics. We are a Series C-funded logistic technology company that has increased our revenue by 200% year over year, led by a leadership team of logistics veterans and experienced engineers, product leaders and data scientists continuing to disrupt this $800 billion industry.
We are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced global company. 
LOCATION: Remote from anywhere in Latin America

What you get to do:

• Lead in-depth pricing & marketplace analytics, leveraging both internal and external market data to create pricing strategies that optimize revenue, PnL, and manage brokerage risk in both spot and contracted freight markets in the US. This includes:
• Identifying patterns and trends that help enhance our contract and spot pricing strategies
• Understanding the dynamics of our machine learning pricing algorithms to create optimal strategies on top of existing algorithms
• Lead “marketplace” analytics, which include analysis on network matching, supply & demand optimization, and shipper / carrier elasticities
• Blend technical and strategic skills to optimize our spot & contract pricing strategies across all modes of transportation, equipment types, markets, shippers, and more
• Own ad hoc analytical projects that sit at the forefront of Loadsmart. As pricing touches nearly every part of the company, our team is often leaned upon to to test hypotheses that help Loadsmart decide on the value of new initiatives
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and existing Pricing Strategy teams to provide data-driven insights and to enhance knowledge and understanding of the truckload market
• Join a lean, high-caliber team that has the ability to create some of the most significant impact at the company

You have experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a role with a blend of analytical and business/strategy - includes but isn’t limited to roles in Finance, Consulting, Business Development, Business Intelligence, and more
• Proficient in verbal and written English – you will be communicating with native English speakers daily
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a basic working knowledge of SQL
• Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Able to excel alongside and within groups to maintain a collaborative work environment
• Detail-oriented and focused
• Note - This role does not require knowledge of software engineering in activities such as : Implementing models into production, configuring APIs, maintaining tech infrastructure, data pipelines, etc.
