Product Manager, Data Platform

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As part of the Tealium Product team, you will build an ecosystem of products that power customer data infrastructure and insights for some of the world’s biggest brands. The Product Manager, Data Platform role is an opportunity to help define and execute on Tealium’s largest and most valuable asset - its data platform and products. Acquisition, transformation, and management of data across Tealium’s ecosystem and products is critical to the platform’s present and future, and this individual will be at the center of charting and building this critical asset and infrastructure. The Data Platform PM will lead the full lifecycle of their products, including market research, competitive analysis, gathering requirements, developing specifications, and getting the product developed and delivered to customers.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, customer success, and product marketing) to understand the industry, competitor trends, and market dynamics
- Build deep customer understanding to represent the customer’s voice and solve for their needs throughout the product development processes
- Translate product strategy into detailed business and user requirements
- Actively prioritize product backlog and coordinate planning with other Product Managers to define and enhance our data platform across the application
- Partner with Data Architects on implementing best practice data principles within the application
- Leverage data to inform your strategic and tactical product decisions and measure outcomes
- Partner with engineering leaders and scrum teams to build world-class, innovative technology and continuously ship value in an agile CI/CD environment
- Provide ruthless prioritization and focus for engineering teams to deliver customer value
- Work with internal partners to drive product adoption by contributing to go-to-market strategies, enablement activities, webinars, product demos, documentation, and more
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
- 2+ years as a Product Manager building SaaS products, with proven success driving customer adoption and retention
- Passion for products and technology – loves to innovate to solve complex problems
- Ability to excite, energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative; proven ability to lead through influence vs. authority
- Well-versed in Agile Scrum best practices and experienced being a product owner for a scrum team. Experience with Jira and similar tools
- Natural ease at conducting user interviews, speaking the voice of the customer, and evangelizing product adoption internally and externally
- Highly accountable individual and show genuine care about the people, processes, and technology involved in making a successful product come to life
- Strong written and presentation skills; great storyteller
- BS/BA degree in technology-related field, or equivalent experience
