AWS is looking for an Analytics Specialist to help us continue to improve our enterprise customer experiences with our database, analytics, and machine learning solutions so that we can help them achieve their desired business outcomes with our solutions.

As a leader in this fast growing space, you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a technologies that have a significant impact on our customers' business and technical strategies. AWS relevant analytical solutions span BigData (Amazon Elastic Map Reduce), search (Amazon Elasticsearch), Enterprise Data Warehousing (Amazon Redshift), streaming (Amazon Kinesis and Kafka), visualization (Quicksight), and Data Lake (Amazon Glue and Lake Formation). The ideal candidate will have demonstrable technical skill with enterprise data platforms and will serve as a key member of the AWS Analytics team focused on helping to drive overall AWS market and technical strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Work with C-level business and technical leaders to help them “Turn Data into Insights”
· Lead business-outcome working backwards workshops and create financial business cases.
· Help define AWS market segments, customer bases, and industry verticals.
· Work strategically with key clients to ensure they are successfully achieving their goals with AWS services, and that they have (or you are) the technical resources required.
· Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with their internal development teams to guide the direction of our service offerings.
· Prepare and deliver business reviews with senior management regarding progress and roadblocks.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelors degree required.
· 10+ years of experience with go to market strategy, enterprise sales, or program/product/technical product management experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Experience selling, positioning, architecting and utilizing technologies like Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, SAP EDW, Oracle Exadata, Snowflake, Teradata, Netezza or similar.
· Business-driven analytics roles such Director of Customer Experience, Director of Financial Planning and Analytics, Director of Retail Operations Analytics.
· MBA, Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background; working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies.
This position is located near one of our AWS Corporate offices in the US-Central Area (St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans or Austin strongly preferred.)

Moderate travel should be expected.
