Amazon Business (AB) Product Management teams launch features that drive the next wave of growth for our business, relentlessly innovating across a broad spectrum of functions including expanding our selection, offering everyday low prices, improving the world-class delivery, and providing exceptional value to our business customers. We are disrupting the status quo of Business to Business (B2B) by delivering new, efficient purchasing solutions to individual proprietors, to small-medium businesses, to global organizations (and everything in between). As a Senior Product Manager, you will own defining the product strategy and roadmap for our strategic initiatives that directly impact top and bottom line. You will work directly with our Third-party (3P) Sellers to understand their needs and define how we will leverage their unique qualifications and capabilities to meet the needs of businesses buying on Amazon. In this is a highly visible position, you will interact with the senior management team within AB across Product, Tech and Business organizations. We recognize that we are successful when our Sellers are successful and your efforts will directly enable Sellers, including small and minority owned businesses, to succeed on Amazon.
The Supplier Tools and Experience Product lead will own and drive the product roadmap for supplier facing tools and features on Amazon Business. S/he will develop and launch products and features which – 1. Improve supplier productivity – work on AI/ML based tools (some are already live) to accelerate inputs like selection and pricing, 2. Drive AB feature adoption – by building awareness, and sharing insights with sellers on how the AB feature set can unlock new opportunities for business, 3. Drive action – develop recommendations (e.g., nudges) and predictive analytics that show and drive suppliers to take action to grow the business. The work involves directly working with Tech teams (both home and away) and will need to work with and influence and large group of cross-functional partners at Amazon (Selection, Pricing, UX, Fulfillment, Sales, Finance, B2C Marketplace, and Legal).
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of conceptualizing, designing, developing and launching products and features in the B2B, B2C or e-commerce businesses. S/he will be a thought leader who can build new business models, address unmet customer needs and invent new solutions. This role reports to the leader of the US 3P Seller Marketplace, and is based in Seattle.
Responsibilities
· Product Roadmap and Strategy: Build product strategy and drive the product development with a multi-year horizon. Create and prioritize a product roadmap by shaping business requirements and user stories. Leverage Amazon’s know-how and industry trends to identify the right strategy and solutions that will delight the business Seller across multiple use cases and personas.
· Business case development: Model the financial impact of the solutions and work with finance to create and manage the P&L. Establish business metrics that show customer impact, business growth and product adoption
· Voice of 3P Seller/Customer: Engage with Customers, Sales, Marketing, and User Research to conduct in-depth research to understand the needs of business customers and 3P sellers, while identifying and incorporating disruptive capabilities
· Requirements definition: Define the business requirements (both US and international), customer experience priorities and build UX with our design team. Direct, create, and execute product plans to deliver new features, adoption programs, customer surveys, partner engagements.
· Product Development: Test, launch and scale products that create customer impact, engage with our global teams and grow overall business in relevant regions worldwide. Collaborate with partner teams and technical managers to move from vision to delivery, by launching a steady stream of feature improvements and new products.
· Go to market: Build go to market strategy of a portfolio of products in close cooperation with marketing and sales teams. Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences within Amazon Business and across orgs and teams in multiple geographic locations


Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology or related field
· Proven ability to launch successful, product offerings that are used and loved by their customers
· Ability to present ideas to senior executives by way of exceptional verbal and written skills
· Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

Preferred Qualifications

· Master's degree in Business or Economics or comparable work experience
· Mix of business and technical experience, with a track record of shipping new features and products. in an ecommerce business with emphasis on metrics/productivity
· Expertise developing and leading Business to Business (B2B) solutions
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions; Experience with Machine Learning systems
· A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects. Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
· Ability to think creatively, identify needle-moving customer solutions, deal with ambiguity, manage changing priorities within a matrixed organization
· Experience influencing others and delivering results cross-functionally. Demonstrable ability to build lasting relationships and conduct negotiations with leading global and local brands to obtain preferable terms and win-win solutions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to defend ideas and investments, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executive levels in the company
