Position Summary
Virtuous is looking for a motivated, and purposeful marketing and sales professional with experience in value-based sales development to join our growing Revenue team. 
You’ll be responsible for a named account list of nonprofit organizations we seek to partner with. You’ll spend your days engaging with multiple departments within target organizations to generate pipeline, facilitate qualifying calls and conduct ROI evaluations with key decision makers, and execute a seamless handoff of qualified accounts to Account Executives in your assigned RevPod.
In addition to daily account development, you’ll partner with marketing and sales to design, implement, and execute field marketing activities that engage assigned accounts. You’ll work closely with marketing managers and the sales team to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities.
Nonprofit Development Reps are a critical part of our growth plan and essential as we rapidly increase the number of nonprofits we serve. You’ll report to the Chief Marketing Officer and focus on three (3) primary focus areas: account development, field marketing, and pipeline generation.
You'll be Responsible For...

Account Development — 85%

  • Work with assigned RevPod (a mix of sales and marketing staff) to map account plans for both new and existing relationships within assigned nonprofit accounts
  • Use multiple channels and tactics to maintain high volume outreach activities each day to multiple stakeholders at various levels within provided nonprofit organizations
  • Use strategy and creativity to reach key decision makers within provided account targets
  • Facilitate qualifying calls and conduct ROI evaluations with high-level key decision makers
  • Systematically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales process using MEDDIC within HubSpot (our CRM platform)
  • Become an expert in responsive fundraising to ensure you’re equipped to ask insightful questions, overcome objections, and understand the complex needs of each organization
  • Consistently surpass monthly quotas through a proactive approach to growth, and implementing feedback

Field Marketing — 15%

  • Research, plan and execute in-market activities, including events, in partnership with your assigned RevPod to engage assigned accounts and support the sales process from prospecting to close and beyond
  • Source accounts to activate for in-marketing activities, and map out strategic ways to drive engagement across the account 
  • Manage promotion activities surrounding field marketing activities
  • Provide detailed reports on the status and ROI of field marketing activities
  • Document and share lead / customer intelligence with the sales team
  • Attend relevant trade shows and events

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales or marketing experience to or within nonprofit organizations
  • Positive attitude and drive to build value-added relationships
  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly with new people in writing, in-person, and by phone
  • Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated and goal-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Disciplined and highly organized individual
  • Experience/consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment
