We are looking for a Solutions Consultant who will determine the overall strategic, operational and technical scope of new business opportunities with customers and sales prospects. You have the ability to charismatically demonstrate Olo’s detailed product functionality, articulately question customers on their processes and objectives and design viable technical solutions for prospects and clients based on business needs.  
The Solutions Consultant team is a new, customer-facing Specialist group focused primarily on setting up implementation success of complex projects that cross various domains across Olo and our Partner ecosystem. These Solutions Consultants will have a wide and impressive breadth of Olo knowledge that will make them invaluable resources internally and externally with our customers who look to Olo as the industry experts on all things digital ordering. Not only will the Solutions Consultant have a vast knowledge of the Olo ecosystem, but they will be experts in how our systems connect through the creation of implementation plans and working cross-collaboratively with subject matter experts and our Product teams.
Reporting to the VP of the Specialist team, the Solutions Consultant Director will be responsible for forming this new team and shaping it as they learn through their own engagements with sales prospects and existing strategic customers. This is an exciting opportunity to build a new team at Olo, setting our strategy and vision.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC on the 82nd floor of One World Trade Center.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with strategic Olo customers who are looking to Olo for advice/guidance on their digital technology stack modifications. Understand their goals and their setup within Olo and build project implementation plans to ensure success
  • Lead major customer engagements with strategic Olo customers when there is an opportunity that crosses multiple Olo domains. Ensure that the right parties are involved and that the customer is kept informed through resolution
  • Engage with strategic sales prospects to understand the customer ecosystem, their reasons for evaluating Olo and partner with Sales, Product and additional subject matter experts to create a project implementation plan for the Olo team to follow upon signing
  • Lead discovery sessions to identify goals and workflows, and guide discussions about how our products can help them achieve their goals
  • Manage post contract handoff to the implementation teams to ensure they are set up for success and have a smooth implementation
  • Assist with complex RFPs that require a more advanced knowledge of the Olo product
  • Facilitate a highly collaborative environment when partnering with the Customer Success, Sales, & Product teams
  • Partner with Product Managers on any required enhancements to the Olo platform discovered in the project planning process
  • Hire, onboard and manage at least two additional team members in 2022
  • Shape a new team in your vision based on your experiences working with existing customers and prospects
  • Build strong relationships with partners internally and externally
  • Together with the Partnerships team, build and foster relationships with strategic partners with products complementary to the Olo suite. These third parties could be essential to a customer's digital stack and have a high impact on a customer's successful use of Olo

What We'll Expect From You

  • 3+ years experience with Olo products
  • 5+ years experience managing clients or relevant project management work
  • 5+ years experience; Leadership in a creative, high-growth software organization
  • Management experience
  • SaaS experience in the restaurant tech industry
  • Strong ability to digest information and articulate complex insights in a simple way
  • Ability to debate respectfully, encourage collaboration and drive group agreement
  • A strong balance of Sales passion and technical skills to foster confidence and excitement in the project planning process
  • Experience supporting the Sales or Implementation cycles of SaaS solutions to operations, IT and marketing functions
  • Experience analyzing large sets of data to create recommendations and provide guidance
  • Experience in creating solutions architecture diagrams/visualizations
  • A solution mindset, quick thinking, and creative
  • Experience building, scaling, and continued successful implementation of new products and features
  • Outstanding ability to thoughtfully explain problems and resolutions
  • Passion for creating an excellent customer experience and an interest in advocating for clients
  • Legally able to work in the United States

Nice to Have

  • Experience using CRM tools such as or Pipedrive
  • Experience with data analyzation tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • SQL experience
