The Curriculum (Your Role):The Trust and Safety Associate will be responsible for responding to Trust & Safety incidents, monitoring Trust & Safety trends in our community, and developing policies and procedures that have a direct impact on our users. This role gets to work on the most urgent and sensitive support issues at the company that have a high level of importance and are critical to solve.
Your Classmates (The Team):In this role, you will report to the Legal, Trust & Safety, and Policy Counsel. This role requires the ability to work well cross-functionally. You will work closely with our Customer Support, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

  • Handle incoming Trust & Safety issues and assist the support team with Trust & Safety questions or escalations
  • Track, document, and organize all incoming Trust & Safety issues
  • Develop, distribute, and train the team on new and updated Trust & Safety policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support with daily tasks (e.g. user data deletion requests)

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience with the Seesaw app 
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a support function
  • Incredible attention to detail with a holistic view and approach to critical thinking
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to process and solve complex problems under pressure
  • Comfortable making judgment calls in sensitive situations
  • Works well with cross-functional teams and is confident in partnering with internal stakeholders to gather information from multiple sources
